I've never posted before, and never had an inclination to before. Reading other people's posts, I wonder about how this whole thing works, and why you do it.
I'm not sure what I want in life...it boils down to two very different career paths: the one I trained for, or a TOTALLY different one. event management/theatre, or Student affairs/development.
I just want to be happy with my job, happy with myself, and satisfied with life. It's not that I hate myself, it's just that I don't really like my job. It's just not challenging enough, there's not enough to do. It doesn't use my skills, I hate the hours, and I feel like I WASTE MY TIME! I don't really get a chance to make any friends, I work weekends and late hours. GRRR. It's only a year...I can do anything for a year.
I need new friends in LA. I don't know how to make them. Any suggestions?
